There will be a painting party with Lasting Memories on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. at VFW Post 2591.
Cost is $35 per person and dinner is $8. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Ticket price includes dinner and all supplies, it was noted.
On the plate will be a hand-breaded tenderloin sandwhich with a salad. Tea or coffee. All acoholic beverages must be purchased from the VFW bar.
