Fatal Accident Involving a Pedestrian Reported in Holden Sunday Night

Just after 7pm Sunday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatality accident on West 3rd Street, at South Olive in Holden, Missouri in Johnson County.

The crash reportedly occurred as a pedestrian identified as 69-year-old Alice E. Ralston of Holden attempted to cross South Olive Street, as a vehicle was Southbound on the street and was unable to stop, and struck her.

Ralston was transported to Lees Summit Medical Center by Johnson County EMS, and was pronounced dead there at 8:20pm by Dr. Michael Watts.
