KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Some Missouri county officials say FBI agents are asking about a $75,000 contract awarded to a consultant. The Kansas City Star and St. Louis Post-Dispatch report two Jackson County local legislators said they were contacted by FBI agents. Legislator Dan Tarwater and former legislator Theresa Garza Ruiz told the papers that bureau agents were asking about consultant Brittany Burke. She previously worked as an aide to Democratic Governor Jay Nixon.
