CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — Top St. Louis city and county officials are urging residents to remain calm once a grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case is announced. St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley and St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay said at a joint news conference yesterday that while protesters' civil rights will be respected, looting and violence won't be tolerated.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — An attorney for Michael Brown's family says a private forensic pathologist who performed an autopsy on the 18-year-old will testify today before the grand jury deciding whether to charge the Ferguson police officer who shot him. Attorney Benjamin Crump said yesterday that former New York City Chief Medical Examiner Doctor Michael Baden is scheduled to testify Thursday.

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Leaders of the Michael Brown shooting protests in Ferguson are urging local shoppers to boycott retailers on the Thanksgiving weekend. They're calling the effort "No Justice, No Profit." The group is also urging peaceful demonstrations if a grand jury decides not to bring criminal charges against the officer who shot Brown to death in August.
