First Abortion-Related Bill Moves Through Missouri Legislature

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — The first abortion-related bill to move forward in the Missouri Legislature this year is a measure to require annual inspections of abortion providers. The Missouri House voted 119-35, giving initial approval yesterday to a bill requiring clinics providing abortions to be inspected each year. The House must vote again on the bill before it goes to the Senate.
