Florence Sue Sanders, 71

Florence Sue Sanders, 71, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. She was born on March 12, 1942 in Nevada, Missouri, a daughter of Elmer and Nellie (Hanna) Zaring, who preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to George Sanders, who preceded her in death.

Florence enjoyed caring for her family. She was a loving mother and friend. She loved being outdoors and having coffee with her friends.

She is survived by five sons, George (Sherry) Stevens, Howard (Yvonne) Stevens, Sam Sanders, Jimmi Sanders, and Charles Sanders, all of Sedalia; Seven grandchildren, Amy Roche, Heather Stevens, Rachael Glover, Jewely Stevens, John Stevens, Dean Smith, and Chris Stevens; and five great grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, John Stevens; one grandchild, and one great grandchild.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
