Floyd Eugene Flippin, Sr.,77

Floyd Eugene Flippin, Sr. age 77 of Sedalia died on Tuesday, September1, 2015 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia.

He was born on February 3, 1938 in California, Missouri son of Frank and Linnie Brizendine Flippin. On June 29, 1958 in Sedalia he married Wanda McMullin and she survives.

Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter; Julie M. and Steve England of Elsberry, Missouri, one son; Floyd Flippin, Jr. of Sedalia, three grandchildren; Jina Marie Barton of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Dallas Eugene Flippin and Katrisha Flippin both of Independence, Missouri, four great grandchildren; Cody Lee Bishop, Katie Rose Flippin, Zariah Flippin and Jack Wayne Barton.

Funeral service was at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating. T

he family received friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers were Floyd Flippin, Jr., Dallas Flippin, Charles McMullin, Steve England, Kenny Cripe and Jerry Mulkey. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
