Foot Pursuit Results in Arrest of 20-year-old

Sedalia Police arrested 20-year-old Melvin E. Osborne Wednesday morning after the suspect ran from Pettis County deputies.

According to a report, the suspect ran from deputies and was last seen around 7th and Vermont. Ofc. Benner assisted with the foot pursuit and located the suspect between 4th and 5th near Missouri.

The suspect saw the officer and continued to run. Osborne was apprehended when he ran between houses near 4th and Harrison. Osborne was wanted on two Municipal warrants.

He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $228 cash bond. He now has a June 13 court date.
