Four Sedalia residents were injured Thursday morning after a vehicle collision near Highway 50 and Route MM in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 8:15.

According to the online crash report, a Mack Semi truck attempted to make a left turn at a green light, but a Chevrolet reportedly failed to stop at a red light and struck the side of the Mack truck.

The driver of the Chevy, 27-year old Amanda L. McKim, suffered moderate injuries, while three passengers, 25-year old Michelle D. Nelms, 5-year old Isaiah Mallote, and 1-year old Brayden McKim, suffered minor injuries, according to the report. All in the vehicle were wearing safety devices.

All four were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the Mack truck, 41-year old Oran K. Hart, of Sedalia, was reportedly uninjured.
