Four Teenagers Injured in Central Missouri Accident
Four teenagers were injured, three seriously, in a one-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Callaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2007 Dodge Caliber, driven by 17-year-old John Mays of Fulton, went off County Rd. 166 and struck a tree. Mays and two passengers - 14-year-old Zoey Ison of Auvasse and 14-year-old Hayley Hyde of Fulton - suffered serious injuries. A third passenger, 16-year-old Jacob Crowder of Fulton, suffered moderate injuries.
All four were taken by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.
