Frances Evelyn (Eve) Cooper, 87, of Sedalia, died Dec. 30, 2013.

Born January 29, 1926 in Sedalia, she was the daughter of the late Amos Roswell “Doc” and Maybelle Calvert Beach. On September 20, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, she married Billy Kenny Cooper, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, Connie Lynn Roscoe, of Vail, CO, William Keith Cooper, of Overland Park, KS, Dennis Ross Cooper, of Chesterfield, MO; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roswell Lewis Beach; and a sister, Helen Elynn Seelen.

Mrs. Cooper was raised and educated in Sedalia, and was a 1944 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She worked as a night auditor for Best Western for 27 years until her retirement at age 80. She had also worked for Cash Hardware and the Locker Plant in Warsaw, MO. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church, where she loved to sing in the choir in her younger years. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, flowers, gardening, listening to music, watching football, baseball, and ‘Dancing with the Stars’, and her beloved pets.
