The Smith-Cotton Football Tigers return home Friday (September 14) in search of their first win of the season.  After a brutal three game schedule to open the season, the Tigers (0-3), host the Grain Valley Eagles (1-2).

Smith-Cotton has had trouble this season finishing drives, scoring on average just over six points per game, while turning the ball over four times per game.  The Tigers will continue with a two quarterback system that showed promise last week against Hickman.

The Eagles gained their first win of the season last week in Grain Valley by defeating Warrensburg 16-6, while mounting their best offensive output of the season of 318 total yards.  It’s senior night at Jenny Jaynes stadium with a special salute to the seniors prior to the game and at halftime.

Live coverage of the Smith-Cotton Tigers and Grain Valley Eagles can be heard tonight on 92.3 BOB FM, and online at 923BobFM.com.
