Funeral Announcements for December 28, 2017

Funeral services will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, December 28, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for Emma Flora Brockschmidt, 99, of Sedalia. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church for Maureen Catherine Schwalie, 86, of Sedalia. Prayers of the rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with visitation to follow until 8 p.m.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday December 29, 2017 at Rea Funeral Chapel for Larry J. Hill, 73, of Sedalia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Graveside services for Bethel Mae Bearce, 90, of Sedalia, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Highland Sacred Gardens. Family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 p.m. Friday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial for Donald Rippey Brown, 90, of Sedalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Remembrance Ceremony will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church, with visitation to follow until 10:15, followed by the rosary and remarks by the family.

Memorial services for Jeannette Marie Lewis, 62, of Stover, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Christ Lutheran Church in Stover. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m.

Private burial for Charlotte Yount Cordry, 89 will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will host a memorial reception Jan. 13 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Hotel Bothwell in Sedalia. Arrangements are under the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Charlotte Pauline Staton, 74, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
