Funeral Announcements for January 4, 2019

A celebration of life service for Dr. Thomas E. Howe, 83, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens with full military honors conducted by Whiteman Air Force Honor Guard and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

There will be no services or visitation for Melvin Dale Sands, 89, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service for Nancy Ann Leary, 78, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sedalia. A reception will follow her service at the Church. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Arvella Mae Elliott, 99, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial services for Barbara Allyn 77, of Sedalia, formerly of Mill Valley, Calif., will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Calvary Episcopal Church in Sedalia. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
