Georgetta (Hicks) Elifritz, 73

Georgetta (Hicks) Elifritz, 73, of Sedalia passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.  She was born on August 8, 1942 in Sedalia, the daughter of Virgil and Rosa  Hicks, who both have preceded her in death.

On her birthday in 1959, she was united in marriage to Russell Elifritz, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1999.

Georgetta enjoyed sewing and reading. She worked in private home health care for 15 years and for Jensen Factory of Sedalia  for 3 years, where she made many life long friends. Georgetta was a member of New Life Open Bible Church, Sedalia.

She is survived by three children, Rusty Elifritz and his wife Debbie of O'Fallon, MO, Terry Elifritz and his wife Beverly of St. Peters, MO and Tabatha Stuart and her husband Marc of O'Fallon, MO; two brothers, Larry and John Hicks; five sisters, Betty Collins, Ann Jackson, Linda Meisner, Ima Andrews and Donna Stuart; eight grandchildren, Megan Navarro, Matthew Elifritz, Brett Elifritz, Kenny Elifritz, Katy Robinson, Jessica Purvis, Melissa Moore and Brandon Stuart; two great grandchildren, Drake and Elijah.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded by one brother, Dennis and one sister, Fay both at infancy.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.  Family will receive friends at the chapel from Noon until service time.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.
