The final few days of the Missouri State Fair offer great entertainment options, including free professional shows as well as affordably priced events and concerts.

The Pepsi Grandstand concert series will wrap up with two nights of exciting performances beginning with Red Dirt Country Night, Friday, Aug. 19, and Lady Antebellum on Saturday, Aug. 20.

Red Dirt Country Night features Randy Rogers Band, Jason Boland & The Stragglers and Stoney LaRue. Tickets for the Aug. 19 show start at $10. Seven-time GRAMMY award-winning group Lady Antebellum with opener Kelsea Ballerini will conclude the Pepsi Grandstand concert series on Saturday, Aug. 20. Tickets for this show start at $35.

The 2016 Missouri State Fair High Roller Classic featuring ASCS Sprint Cars and ULMA Late Models will close out the Pepsi Grandstand event line-up, on Sunday, Aug. 21. Hot laps begin at 6 p.m. with heat races starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $23 for adults, $21 for military and seniors (age 65 and older), $10 for students ages 13-16, $5 for youth ages 8-12 and free for kids ages 7 and under.

The State Fair Arena, sponsored by Husqvarna, will offer Bull Riding Competitions on Aug. 19 and 20. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12, on Aug. 19, and $14 for adults and $7 for children ages 6-12, on Aug. 20. The popular Demolition Derby closes out the Arena events at 2 p.m. Aug. 21, with tickets priced at $12 for adults and $6 for children ages 6-12. Admission to all State Fair Arena ticketed events is free for children ages 5 and under.

Tickets for remaining Missouri State Fair events and concerts are available at the Fair’s box office, open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the fairgrounds.

The final weekend of the Missouri State Fair offers a variety of free entertainment including performances on the Budweiser Stage. Brandon Lay will perform at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. with Dirt Road Addiction at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20. Oxline Road will close out the entertainment on the Budweiser Stage with a performance at 4 p.m. on Aug. 21. The Missouri State Fair Idol Contest, sponsored by Bimbo Bakeries USA, will be held on the Budweiser Stage, with semifinal rounds Aug. 19 and 20 starting at 4 p.m., and the final round starting at 2 p.m. on Aug. 21.

The Amazing Anastasini Circus, sponsored by MFA Incorporated, strolling entertainers RobotCars, sponsored by AOK RVs, and a BMX Stunt Show are just some of the many free entertainment options to be found around the fairgrounds on the final weekend. The quality and large variety of entertainment offers something for everyone.
