The 2012 NFL season is around the corner and players are starting to show up for camps and teams are starting to add depth to their lineups.  The University of Central Missouri has had its fair share of athletes move up to the professional level in recent years.  On Monday, July 31, the Green Bay Packers signed former University of Central Missouri Tight End, DeMarco Cosby.

Cosby was an All-American for the Mules in 2010. He caught 71 passes for 970 yards and had 10 touchdowns. Cosby is in the record books for the Mules as a tight end with 141 receptions and 2,146 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns.

Last year, Cosby played on the practice squad for the St. Louis Rams.  He is expected to wear the number 46 for the Green Bay Packers.
