Green Ridge Man Flown to Hospital After Being Struck by Tractor

A Green Ridge man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a tractor Friday evening.

The report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol states the accident occurred around 5:30, in the 32000 block of Highway 127 in Pettis County.

A 1998 Case Farm tractor, driven by 60-year-old Cleora M. Sicht, was backing up when it struck 21-year-old Quintin K. Hansel, of Green Ridge.

Hansel suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken, by Life-Flight, to University Hospital in Columbia, for treatment.
