A Green Ridge man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Pettis County Sunday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 38-year -old Kevin M. Binder was the driver of a southbound 2004 Chevy on Missouri 127, south of Route Y at 10:30 p.m. when the driver fell asleep, causing the vehicle to run off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then went airborne over a culvert and struck the ground before coming to rest.

Binder had minor injuries and refused treatment on scene. The Chevy was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing. Binder was not wearing a safety device, according to the report.
