Gremlin Junior High Girls Edge Boonville For The Win

The Gremlin’s Junior High girls basketball team fought a hard battle from start to finish Monday night against the St. Peter & Paul Warriors from Boonville during the first night of a Gremlin Invite at Sacred Heart in Sedalia.

Overcoming an early deficit, the Gremlins climbed their way back to a 22-21 victory.

Mariah Van Leer was able to will her last second shot in for the big Lady Gremlins win.

Breeley Wilson was the leading scorer for the Gremlins with 15 points and Mariana Restrepo tallied 4.

Shea Smith had a big free throw down the stretch to bring the Lady Gremlins within 1 point.

Mariah Van Leer's 2 points were the deciding factor in the buzzer beater.

The team improves to 4-1.​
