Guns Across America, an online community for those interested in gun related news and reviews, has organized Second Amendment rallies across the country that will take place tomorrow (Jan. 19) at 1 p.m.  The Missouri rally will take place at the Veterans Memorial behind the Capitol in Jefferson City.

"This is going to be a peaceful picketing protest against any and all future gun legislation," said Guns Across America Founder Eric Reed in a statement.  "This is our chance to reach out to our elected officials, and tell them NO NEW GUN LAWS!"

As of Friday morning (Jan. 18), nearly 600 people had confirmed they would be attending the rally via Facebook.  Reed has encouraged those in attendance to practice their Second Amendment rights by bringing their firearms to the rallies nationwide.

"If you're state has legalized open carry/concealed carry, and you're legal to do so, I encourage it," said Reed.  "However, please make sure we're all in compliance with state laws, as this event will be a reflection on all gun owners across America."

Rally attendees are also asked to bring creative signs and to remain respectful, especially if they are confronted.
