Harry L. Farris, 97

Harry L. Farris, 97, of Sedalia, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Mexico, Missouri.

He was born August 1, 1917 in Etterville, Missouri, to Chester and Carrie Farris, who preceded him in death.

In 1940, he married Helen V. Rouchka, who also preceded him in death.

Harry was employed by J.A. Lamy Mfg. Co. in Sedalia for forty-five years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church. He was most happy when he could help others in any way.

He is survived by an only sister, Darlene Palmer; a son, J.R. Farris; and two daughters, Dot Visentin and Patricia Siron. There are five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Sacred Gardens.
