Head-On Collision Reported in Pettis County

Two Pettis County residents were involved in a head-on vehicle collision Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 9:30 on Camp Branch Road, one-mile south of Route Y.

According to the online crash report, a 1998 Ford and a 2004 Dodge Ram rounded a curve, and struck head-on.

The driver of the Dodge, 67-year old John L. Metzner, of LaMonte, received minor injuries. The report indicates Metzner was seeking medical treatment on his own.

The driver of the Ford, 44-year old Richard A. Rodriguez, of Green Ridge, was reportedly uninjured. The MSHP says Rodriguez was arrested for Felony Driving While Revoked. The arrest report indicates Rodriguez was released.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed.
