Head-On Collision Sends Warrensburg Man to Hospital with Injuries

A two-vehicle wreck in Johnson County sent a 37-year old Warrensburg man to the hospital with moderate injuries Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 2:00, on Route OO at NW 700 Road.

According to the online crash report, a westbound 2009 Honda struck an eastbound 2005 Buick head-on at the intersection.

The driver of the Buick, 37-year old William D. Meixner, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. Meixner was taken to Centerpoint Hospital, by JCAD, for treatment.

The report indicates the driver of the Honda, 24-year old Trevor J. Colster, of Centerview, was not injured.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.
