Henrietta D. Rouchka, 90, of Sedalia, died Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born October 15, 1923, in Clifton City, a daughter of the late Albert H. and Eleanor C. (Pabst) Twenter. On June 24, 1947, in Sedalia, she married Robert A. Rouchka, who preceded her in death on December 29, 1996.

She was a longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was a homemaker, and worked at Butternut Bakery, Lamy’s and did babysitting in her home. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning, jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles. She was a zealous card player.

She is survived by a son, Jack Rouchka (Carolyn), of Lee’s Summit; a daughter, Kathy Knox (John), of Sedalia; a step-daughter, Gloria Cowan, of Chippewa Falls, WI; two siblings, J.W. Twenter (Marvella), of Sedalia, and Alberta Patterson, of Cole Camp; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Twenter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Thursday, September 11, 2014, at St. Patrick Church with Father Mark Miller officiating. Pallbearers will be Bryan Rouchka, Brett Rouchka, Matt Gregg, Steve Twenter, Mike Twenter and John Montes. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Prayers of the rosary will begin at 6 pm, Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with visitation to follow until 8 pm.
