A 22-year old man from Creighton, MO was taken to a Kansas City hospital after being injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck just after 1:00 Wednesday afternoon, on Highway 7 near Bridge K00007.

According to the online crash report, a Saturn LS and a Chevy Utility truck were northbound. The Saturn was traveling at a slower rate of the speed and was struck in the rear by the Chevy. The Saturn then traveled off the road and struck a tree.

The driver of the Saturn, Curtis A. Quick, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. He was taken to Research Hospital in Kansas City, by Lifeflight Eagle, for treatment.

The driver of the Chevy, 49-year old Chester L. Jones, of Clinton, was reportedly uninjured.
