Tuesday night, Sedalia Police, and Pettis County deputies were in pursuit of a vehicle with expired tags that refused to stop, and led them to the west city limits, where Pettis County Deputies continued the pursuit. The Pettis County sheriff’s Deputies pursued the Pontiac Grand Prix on a high speed chase west on Highway-50, and into Johnson County where Johnson County Deputies were able to successfully deploy stop sticks just west of Warrensburg.

The driver, identified as 21-year-old Bobby Baker of Oak Grove, and a passenger, 25-year-old Sarah Danner of Sedalia. were transported to the Pettis County jail.

The Sheriff’s Report states charges of possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), resisting arrest, driving while revoked or suspended, possession with a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) with the intent distribute, and a felony warrant out of Jackson County, Missouri, are being sought on Baker.

The Sheriff’s report also states charges of possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, and tampering with evidence, are being sought on Danner. At the time of the Sheriff’s report both Baker and Danner were on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.
