Holden Woman Injured in Johnson County Accident

A two-vehicle wreck injured an 18-year-old Holden woman Monday morning in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ashley N. Harmon was the driver of a northbound 2008 Chevy Impala om Missouri 131 615 north of NW 50th Road, at 11:25 a.m., when she skidded into a stopped 2013 Peterbilt driven by 39-year-old Dale R. McConville of Warrensburg. The Peterbilt was also northbound on 131. The Impala struck the rear of the Peterbilt.

Harmon was taken to Lee's Summit Medical Center for treatment with moderate injuries. McConville was reportedly uninjured. Harmon was not wearing a safety device, while McConville was. The Impala was totaled, while the Peterbilt had minor damage.
