Higginsville Teenager Seriously Injured after Vehicle Overturns

An 18-year old Higginsville man was seriously injured early Thursday morning in a Pettis County vehicle wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 6:18 a.m., on US-65 at Shannon Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2007 Pontiac traveled off the road and overturned multiple times.

The driver, 18-year old Dillon L. Griffith, suffered serious injuries. Griffith was taken to University of Columbia Med Center by PCAD for treatment.

The Pontiac was totaled and towed from the scene. Griffith was wearing a safety device. Pettis County deputies assisted at the scene.
