Hughesville Woman Injured in Pettis Co. Wreck

A 29-year old woman from Hughesville was injured Sunday evening on Cherry Tree Lane in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the one-vehicle accident just before 7:00 in the area of Cherry Tree Lane and Main St.

According to the online crash report, a 1999 Dodge attempted to slow for a curve, then began sliding on the ice-covered roadway. The Dodge traveled off the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The driver, 29-year old Colleen D. Basnight, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. Basnight was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
