Internationally-renowned Harpist Bridget Kibbey in Concert at UCM Nov. 16

The last PAS concert of the Fall is next Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in Hart Recital Hall.

Lauded for her compelling artistry and virtuosity, internationally-renowned harpist Bridget Kibbey is a champion for expanding the scope and platform of the harp.

Her debut album, Love Is Come Again, was named one of the Top Ten Releases by Time Out New York.

She has been featured on recordings with Placido Domingo and broadcast on NPR's Performance Today and A&E's Breakfast with the Arts.

Ms. Kibbey will be in Warrensburg for a three-day residency, in partnership with the UCM Dept. of Music, which includes masterclasses, elementary school visit, a free seminar titled "Making a Life in the Arts" and the concert Wednesday evening, featuring the works of J.S. Bach and new works by international composers.

The New York Times calls her "a harpist with blazing power and finesse."
