Iva “Marie” Web, 96

Iva (Marie) Webb age 96 of Sedalia passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Fair View Nursing Home.

She was born on April 7, 1918 in Beaman, Missouri daughter of W. D. and Mae Marie DeWitt Price. She was married on June 2, 1978 to Frank Melvin Webb and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1993. She was of the Baptist Faith and attended Bethany Baptist when she was able. She was a homemaker but also worked at Lamy's, Swifts and Rival.

In her younger days she enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and embroidery work. She loved to design, hand make and sew quilts. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, working puzzles and playing Chinese checkers. She also loved visiting with all her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter; Sharon Cummings (Bob) of Sedalia, one granddaughter; Cynthia McElhaney (Rick) of Leeton, Missouri, three grandsons: Jeff Martin (Marlene) of Lake Mary, Florida, Charles Martin of Centertown, Missouri, Mike Cummings of Cole Camp, Missouri, 8 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister; Elsie Margaret Brannon, one brother: Cecil Douglas Price, one great grandson: Erick Michael Cummings.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10: 45 A.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.

Graveside services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Cummings, Jeff Martin, Charles Martin, Travis Snyder, Aaron Martin Josh King. Memorials may be given to donor's choice.
