With ‘Casino Royale’, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Skyfall’, the Daniel Craig era of the James Bond movies has been the most successful films of the entire franchise on both a critical and commercial level. That's pretty good for an actor a lot of Bond fans hated when he was originally cast (The Daily Mirror in London ran the headline “The Name's Bland. James Bland.”). With the next installment in Craig's 007 series—‘Spectre’—set for release in November, we thought we'd take a look back at the previous three films in the latest installment of You Think You Know Movies!

As we mentioned above, the past three James Bond films have been incredibly successful. ‘Skyfall’ was the first James Bond film to win multiple Oscars and make over $1 billion worldwide. It was also the first James Bond movie to drop the F bomb (by Dame Judi Dench, no less!).

‘You Think You Know Movies?’ is a ScreenCrush original series that dives deep into the cinematic worlds of your favorite movies and freeze frames a few tidbits you might not have known. We’ve already tackled ‘Star Wars,’ ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Spider-Man,’ but now, it’s time to shake (not stir) some facts on the James Bond movies!
