James H. Smith, 36, of Sedalia passed away July 5, 2015.  He was born on April 8, 1979 in Sedalia,  a son of Jim and Ranae (Campbell) Smith, who survive of Sedalia.

James was a member of Life Pointe Church, Sedalia. He loved going to sprint car races, fishing and riding his bicycle. He was known for his big heart and was always willing to help anyone that needed a hand.  James loved spending time with his kids, family and friends, and will be missed by all.

Besides his parents he is survived by three children, Juliann Marie, Galvin James and Cheyenne Paige Smith; one brother, Scott Smith (Vanessa) all of Sedalia; one sister, Jammi Birch (Mike) of Green Ridge; maternal grandparent, William and Marsha Campbell; three nephews, Jeremy Birch, Joshua Birch and Alyc Smith; four nieces, Cory Birch, Tanita Birch, Jordyn Smith and Torey Williams.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, James H. and Virginia A. Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Life Pointe Church, Sedalia.  Pastor Rusty Thomas will officiate service.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.

Honorary bearers will be Chris Taylor, Dad Chuck & Momma Dee Stockstill,

Charlie Stockstill, Hillary Rogers, Mike Munsterman, Scotty Gutierrez, Larry Cooper and Jon Prewitt.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
