James L. Hill, Sr., 82

James L. Hill, Sr., 82, of Sedalia, passed away, Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his home.  He was born on September 5, 1930, in Leitchfield, KY, a son of Walter and Emma (Decker) Hill.   On February 4, 1955 in Pawnee, IL he was united in marriage to Fannie Mae Brewer, who preceded him in death on November 13, 2007.    He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force.   He is survived by two sons, James L. Hill, Jr. and his wife Kathy, and Calvin E. Hill; two daughters, Vicki L. Lipe, and Linda S. Johnson and her husband Donnie; fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.   Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and one granddaughter.   A memorial service will be held at a later date in Illinois.   Serving the family, Rea Funeral Chapel.
