James William Priesendorf, 63, of Sedalia passed away January 15, 2016 at his home in Sedalia, MO.  He was born on April 3, 1952 in Sedalia, the son of Conrad Priesendorf and Dolores Jones, who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1970 and State Fair Community College in 1989.  He retired from Missouri/Union Pacific Railroad as a Railway Carman.

Jim was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating.  He also appreciated music and art.

Surviving are his two daughters, Jesica of Newport News, VA, and Sarah of Sedalia; one granddaughter, Amiya; three brothers, Mike of Orrick, MO, Carl of Raymore, MO and Tom of Eldorado Springs, MO.  He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Carey; and his daughter, Amy.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dan Hankins officiating.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his nieces and nephews.

Honorary bearers will be John Thompson and Gary Ballard.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
