Jefferson City Man Killed in Audrain County Accident

A 45-year-old Jefferson City man was killed in a two-vehicle accident at 7:55 p.m. September 29 in Audrain County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 1975 Chevrolet truck had slowed to make a right turn on Highway 19 when it was struck from behind by a 2001 Chevrolet 1500, driven by Ronald Gough. Gough was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver, 88-year-old Laurance Hoyt of Laddonia, suffered minor injuries and did not seek treatment.
