Jewell Edward Webb, 74, of Sedalia passed away February 9, 2016 at Rest Haven Convalescent Home in Sedalia.  He was born on February 23, 1941 at Tipton, MO the son Mary Francis Boone, who preceded in death.

On July 25, 1970, in Sedalia he was united in marriage to Deborah E. Buckner, who survives of the home.

Jewell worked for Broderick and Bascom for 22 years before retiring in June of 2002. He was a 1959 graduate of C.C. Hubbard High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1963 until 1969. Jewell enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to music and collecting old LP albums. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He lived in the Sedalia area most of his life.

Besides his wife, Deborah, he is survived by one son, Perry I. Webb and his wife Jaclyn of Sedalia; a grandson, Lyric Jewell Webb.

Besides his mother he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Ellen Boone.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Crown Hill Cemetery with Bishop Calvin Lewis officiating.

A family visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
