Johnathon Dale Eade, 24

Johnathan Dale Eade, 24, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014. He was born on October 29, 1989 in Sedalia, a son of David and Donna (Lee) Wirtz.

Johnathan loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, collecting knives, and killing zombies. He especially enjoyed being with his family, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Racheal Wirtz of Sedalia; two brothers, Kevin Lee and Dereck Wirtz of Sedalia; maternal grandmother, Jennifer Self of Sedalia; maternal great-grandfather, Richard Griffin of Sedalia; paternal grandfather, Robert Ellis of Sedalia; several aunts and uncles, including Mary and Roger Vanwagner of Dixon, MO; Monte Ellis of Sedalia;  Matthew Wirtz of Virginia; Willard Wirtz of Ivy Bend, MO; Sherri Miller of Warrensburg, MO; Angie and John Wirtz of Warrensburg, MO; Tammy Lee of Sedalia; and Donnie Lee of Cole Camp, MO.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Hellen “Patsy” Ellis.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Chaplin Chris Traffanstedt officiating.

The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.
