Johnson Co. Wreck Sends Driver to Hospital

A 42-year old Osceola man was injured Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle wreck in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 11:45, on MO-2 at SW 971 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado traveled off the right side of the road and struck a culvert. The Chevy then returned to the road, traveling off the other side and striking a ditch.

The driver, 42-year old Dustin S. Heyer, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. Heyer was taken to Centerpoint Hospital, by EMS, for treatment.

The report indicates the Chevy was totaled and towed from the scene.
