Johnson County Authorities Searching for Burglary Suspect

On Wednesday, the Johnson County Sheriff's Office responded to burglary reports approximately 6 miles south of Warrensburg, near Highway 13.

According to a post on the Johnson County Sheriff's Department Facebook page, the suspect(s) forced entry into the unoccupied houses and stole property.

The two burglaries occurred during daytime hours. If anyone see a suspicious vehicle in their neighborhood, contact central dispatch at 660-747-5511.

Authorities say, if anyone is able to 'safely obtain a license number on the vehicle, that would be very helpful.'
