Kaleb, Rob and Kevin Catch Some Missouri Mavericks Hockey in Independence [PHOTOS]

Ever since Rob moved to Missouri and left his beloved Northern hockey loving region, I promised him that we would go to a Missouri Mavericks game. Last night (Feb. 26), I fulfilled my promise and I took Rob and Kevin Walker to their first every Missouri Mavericks game at the Independence Events Center.

The Missouri Mavericks have been named the best franchise in the Central Hockey League every year since their existence, and we are lucky to have them within a reasonable driving distance. The games are fun and full of energy. The fans are always treated to great hockey, and the Mavericks have tons of giveaways throughout the game.

Last night, the Mavericks welcomed back a player who competed in the Winter Olympics, the fans rose to their and gave him a standing ovation.

Basketball season is almost over, baseball season will be starting up in a few months, so in the meantime, you should check out a Missouri Mavericks game. You won't be disappointed.
