Kenneth Guy Woolery, 64 of Sedalia, passed away, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Harry S. Truman VA Hospital.  He was born on September 3, 1948, in Kansas City, a son of Guy and Nellie (Murl) Woolery.  On May 22, 2010 he was united in marriage to Guillermina Arechiga, who survives of the home.   He served his country honorably when he enlisted in the USMC in 1968. Kenneth was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat “V” in 1969 and later served in the National Guard.  He was a former member of the VFW, American Legion, Elks Lodge, Sedalia Shrine Club, Combat Veterans and Iron Horseman. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, going to the lake and spending time with family and friends.      Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Jimmy (Teresa) Woolery of Kansas City, Mark Woolery of Sedalia and Melissa (Toby) Pierce of Sedalia; three grandchildren, and one on the way; eight siblings, Leo Huff, Levena Simpson, Donna Fredrick, Charlotte Stump, Jimmie Phillips, Larry Phillips, Rhonda Phillips all of Clinton and Ricky Huff of Seneca.   He was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Murl Woolery; his birth mother Ida Pearl Green; and one brother, Dale Huff.   A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Rea Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Boatman officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.   Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm.     Memorial contributions are suggested to The MO Honor Flight or Truman VA Living Center of Columbia, in care of the funeral chapel.
