A 24-year-old Knob Noster man was killed in a Friday afternoon wreck, after the vehicle overturned and landed in a creek.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 1:15 p.m., on Highway 50, just west of AA, in Johnson County.

A 2009 Nissan was westbound, when it traveled off the left side of the road. The Highway Patrol says the vehicle then went airborne, struck an embankment, and overturned. The Nissan then landed in a creek.

The driver, 24-year-old Zachary N. Stiffarm, was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
