Lady Tiger Tennis Drops Season Opener to Osage

Lady Tigers tennis team lost its season opener Monday at Osage, 8-1. 

Coach Christine Nierman said, “The lack of game experience for our new players showed tonight. Jessica Kotok, the only player that has varsity game experience, won her (No. 3) singles match.”

Macy Matthew was competitive at No. 1 singles, losing 9-7, and at No. 1 doubles with Caroline Matz, falling 8-5.

The team heads to Knob Noster on Tuesday.
