Lena L. Holford, 91

Lena L. Holford age 91 of Sedalia died on Monday, October 21, 2013 at the Columbia County Health Care in Columbia, Missouri.

She was born on September 27, 1922 in Bel-Air, Missouri. On December 25, 1964 in Sedalia she married Ernest N. Holford and he preceded her in death on February 5, 1969. Lena graduated from C.C. Hubbard High School in Sedalia in 1943.

She retired from Rival Mfg. Co. and later from Ewing Vocational Center. Lena enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

\As a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses she shared in a volunteer Bible Educational Ministry.

Lena is survived by three daughters; Marilyn Jones of Sedalia, Ernestine Fletcher and her husband Freddie of Sedalia, Rosemary Fountain and her husband William of Davenport, Iowa, eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. She was preceded by; her parents, husband, two daughters, two brothers.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 25, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Elder Anthony Garcia officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be friends. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until service time on Friday.
