Leslie Zumwalt, 57

Leslie Zumwalt, 57, of Sedalia passed away Saturday April 18, 2015 at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center, Sedalia.  She was born in Sedalia on August 23, 1957, the daughter of Gene and Betty (Johnson) Landon.

On November 20, 1982 in Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Rick Zumwalt, who survives of the home.

Leslie graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1975.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, crafts, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sedalia.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, Angie Howard (John) of Sedalia, Cherie Pemberton (Roger) of Harrisonville, MO and Dirk Zumwalt (Chastity) of Nixa, MO; ten grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Taylor, Payton, Dylan, Tyler, Skyler, Morgan, Gabby and Michael; and one great grandson, Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Jim Downing officiating.

Family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm, until service time.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Sylvia Thompson Memory Care Unit, in care of the funeral chapel.
