On Saturday Oct.4th, the Sedalia Kiwanis Club will partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri to present the first ever Kiwanis Kids Fun Day.
This event was  being held at Liberty Park. The games were fun and pretty varied: Fish Pond, Three-legged Race, Lollipop Tree, Gunny Sack Race, Frog Board Ring Toss, Hula Hoop Contest, Bottle Ring Toss, Jump Rope, Balloon Dart Pop,Tic Tac Toe Board. There was be a free hot dog meal for all kids taking part.  I got to head over with boyfriendo and the kids, and it was a great time!  Sure, it was a little chilly, but since when has that stopped a kid from enjoying anything?!

Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage nearly 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects.  Kiwanis clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time. For more information about the Kiwanis Club here in Sedalia, contact Ann Dove at 660-527-3794.

Funnily yours,

Behka
