Lincoln Man Injured in Two-vehicle Wreck on 65

A 51-year-old Lincoln man suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash just south of Sedalia Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 15-year-old Eduard C. Radacenco of Sedalia was the driver of a 2009 Audi at US 65 and Sacajawea that made a left turn in front of a 2001 Mazda MPV driven by 51-year-old Curtis E. Thompson of Lincoln at 1:28 p.m. The vehicles struck head-on, according to the crash report.

Thompson suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center. Curtis was wearing a safety device, while Radacenco was not, the report noted.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
