Lincoln Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Wreck on 65 Highway
A 56-year old Lincoln woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a 2-vehicle wreck that occurred in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 4:00, on Highway 65 north of Frisch Road.
According to the online crash report, a 2004 Chevrolet lost control due to ice on the roadway. The Chevy then crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Jeep Wrangler.
The driver of the Chevy, 56-year old Mary J. Harms, was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Cole Camp EMS, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Jeep, 22-year old Caleb J. Reno, of Warsaw, was reportedly uninjured.
Both drivers were wearing safety devices. The Chevy and Jeep were totaled and towed.
